Aurora Water-Wise Garden

Aurora, Colorado

The Aurora Water-wise Garden, located in Aurora, CO, is a 6 acre garden located next to the Aurora Municipal Center that displays low-water plants and techniques. The garden is intentionally designed to encourage visitors to adopt low-water landscaping techniques into their own gardens to help the drought issues Colorado is experiencing every year. Tangram worked with the city of Aurora to replace the garden's existing signage system with a new wayfinding and interpretive signage program that focused on the visitor experience.

The design for the signage was inspired by the natural elements of the garden landscape so that it could seamlessly blend with the environment, while also being highly visible and easily accessible to visitors. Graphic House of Wausau, WI fabricated and installed the signage for this project. Future phases will be implemented over the next couple of years.
